Charity begins at home – A few words from W.Bro.Paul Mason.

A story of kindness and charity that personifies the Mark Degree….

“My wife was diagnosed with AIH (Auto Immune Hepatitis) in June of this year. On the 1st of September which was our 50th Wedding Anniversary we held a luncheon for 30 friends at the Tally Ho Conference Centre at which we held a collection for the Liver Foundation at the QE Hospital, where she had been, and continues to be treated for this incurable illness.

We raised the sum of £290.00 for the Liver Foundation to which was added a further £250.00 by the Warwickshire Mark Benevolent Fund, for which we are eternally grateful.

Yours sincerely and fraternally, W.Bro. Paul Mason”

I am sure that all of us wish W.Bro.Paul and his wife our very best wishes and hope they have a peaceful Christmas and New Year in their most trying of times.
